Job purpose
To manage human resource function

Key duties and responsibilities
The Senior Human Resource Management Officer shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:

1. Coordinating staff recruitment and selection processes;
2. Developing and maintaining Human Resource Management Information Systems and Procedures;
3. Managing payroll;
4. Reviewing and drafting human resource policies from time to time;
5. Coordinating inductions for new staff;
6. Coaching and mentoring staff;
7. Coordinating the implementation of HIV and AIDs workplace policies and programmes;
8. Coordinating and implementing occupational health and safety matters;
9. Coordinating staff welfare;
10. Providing secretarial service for the disciplinary and grievance committee;
11. Managing human resource records;
13. Producing human resource reports;
14. Advising management on human resource policies;
15. Supervising staff in the Human Resource Division;
16. Preparing budgets and work plans for the division; and
17. Appraising performance.

Minimum qualifications and experience
The applicant must have:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management obtained from a recognised institution,
2. At least 5 years experience in human resource related work.

6. Have strong interpersonal skills;
7. Be able to work under pressure and available at work outside normal working hours when required.
