The Malawi Bureau of Standards has finalized and released twelve new Malawi Standards in its last quarter of 2020-2021 year.

The new standards, which are now available in the Standards Information Centre at Head office in Blantyre are sold at affordable price. These standards can also be accessed at all MBS regional offices. The new standards cover diverse sectors of economy.

The following are some of the new standards:

1. MS-IS0 10006:2017 Quality management systems Guidelines for quality management in projects.

2. MS 116: 2018 Salted fish and dried salted fish-specifications.

3. MS 1331:2017 Edible mushroom and mushroom products specifications.

4. MS 111:2018 Dairy Farming Code of hygiene conditions for milking.
