Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) supported the National Schools Science Fair with 2 million Kwacha in fulfilling its commitment towards corporate social responsibility. The Malawi National Schools Science Fair is an annual event that gives secondary school students a platform to showcase their scientific projects made from locally sourced materials.

This year’s science fair was held from 23rd to 26th October at Kamuzu Academy in Kasungu under the theme; “Promoting Science and Technological Innovations in Students – The basis of Socio-Economic Development in Malawi”.

The competition drew the participation of forty-four government and private secondary schools across all the six education divisions in Malawi.
