The MBS offers client-based industrial research, training and consultancies in areas such as product improvement, safety, hygiene and environmental protection. This is done through an Industrial Research, Training and Consultancy Unit (IRTACU). The IRTACU has undertaken a number of consultancies in this respect.

The MBS also offers training in Quality management, food Safety management, environmental management, occupational health and safety through IRTACU.
